HAPPY HALLOWEEN YA'LL!
I know it has been a while, but here are some pics of my Lemax SpookyTown Village. I currently have "DeadWood Water Tower, Dry Gulch County Jail, Phantom Station, Pirate's Pub and Grub, Vampire Caverns and Phantom Cruise Lines (The Bloody Mary), and Pirate Cove." I am planning on slowly adding to my collection every year. This year I added "Dry Gulch County Jail and Vampire Caverns" as well as several accessories. I will post some pics of our fun times Halloween night soon, as well as pics of my Christmas Village and decorations when I get them up.

Cakes From Cake Class
Me and mawmaw recently started the Wilton Method Cake Decorating Class. We are now in coarse 2, but here are the cakes from Coarse 1:
My cake from class 3 of 4 is the purple and grey one (i forgot to take pic of class 2, and class 1 was a non working class). As you can tell we learnt how to make stand up clowns. I did mine in my school colors because we take our cakes to the new clinic that my mom works at that is down from my school. Mawmaw's is the tan cake with the polka dots on it.
My cake from class 4 of 4 is the white one with the flowers on it. I used piping gel to transfer the logo of the clinic onto the cake. Mawmaw's cake is the chocolate cake with the bright colored flowers on it.

Baby Shower Cake
We recently had a baby shower for my mom, and I made the cake. It was my first vertical cake, as you can probably tell.

New Blog!
So as my first post on my new blog, I will talk about my recent vacation in Seattle. We just got back in Louisiana yesterday after an eight day trip to the Emerald city. We did a coffee tasting tour with Seattle By Foot. The tour guide was good. She told a lot of interesting stories about where coffee comes from, how it is brewed and the types of coffee there is. We walked about one and a half miles, starting in Pike Place Market and ending in Pioneer square, where our next tour began. The next tour we did was the Seattle Underground tour. The tour wasn't all that worth the price for the amount of underground you see, but I personally think that the tour guide made up for the not so great tour amount. Our tour guide was hilarious. A fellow tour taker even asked her if she did stand up, she said, "she tried, but they just laughed at her".....ha ha ha! Another thing we did on the tour was go to the observation deck on Smith Tower. The view was amazing! It was a beautiful, surprisingly clear day. We also went to the 73rd floor of the Columbia center and had an even better view.
